Nicki draws her patterns by hand, then builds them into repeats on the computer. She spent years designing housewares for Walmart, Target, and The Home Depot, so she draws with production in mind: repeats, colorways, and a scale that works on a bed, a curtain, or a dress.
Where it goes
Her prints also become Padrona, her fashion brand, where each dress is placed as a single painting instead of a repeat. The rest of the library is open to licensing for home, apparel, and hospitality.
